Brass Monkey race is is upon us again.

As always there will be a Striders bus put on for this event. The bus is available for both runners & supporters.

This bus event will include a food stop off on the return journey at the The Carlton Inn, Carlton Hustwaite, https://www.thecarltoninn.co.uk/

A Sunday lunch menu is attached as a PDF, please email the transport officer (transport@elvet-striders.uk) with your lunch order by the 4th January. A vegan option will be available.

Please note the following change from last year!
The pub has asked for £5 deposits to be taken for this booking, per person, therefore ticket costs will be increased by this amount. When you go to pay for your food at the bar on the day, £5 will be deducted from your bill. Should the event be cancelled full refunds, including lunch deposit will be issued. Overall ticket costs remain unchanged from last year.

Prices for the bus are:
Adults (members) – £13.00 +£5 lunch deposit
Adults (non-members) – £14.00 +£5 lunch deposit
Full-time Student/Child – £7.00 +£5 lunch deposit

Sacriston – Dorothy Tce/Witton Road – Crossroads Health Centre (07.20),

Shell Garage by Belmont P&R (07.40)

Once all pick ups have been made then the bus will make its way to York Racecourse where the race starts at 10am .

After the race, the bus will leave the racecourse about 1.00pm to take us to our lunch stop at 2pm
The bus will leave the restaurant about 4.15pm and get back to Durham about 5.30pm.
