Hi all, its been a while!
Great North Run transport is for runners, supporters and marshals a like.
Pick up points & times are:
Annfield Plain (07.15),
Lanchester bowling green (07.20),
Kaysburn roundabout (07.25),
Witton Gilbert Travellers Rest (07.30),
Sacriston – Dorothy Tce/Witton Road – Crossroads Health Centre (07.35),
Framwellgate moor – Salutation (07.40),
North Road viaduct – opposite Dominos (07.45),
Gilesgate Outbound layby (A690) under footbridge (07.50),
Belmont P&R (07.55)
In previous years, the return pick up point has been from South Shields but this year we are faced with different circumstances and a different course. The plan for the return pick up point is TBC at around 5.00 – 5.30pm, however that is fluid and if everyone is ready to return sooner this may be pulled forward.. Further communication will confirm pick up point and timing.
Prices: (no change from 2018)
- Members – Adult Fare – £7
- Children Fare – £4
- Non-Members Fare – £8
Unlike in previous years, there won’t be multiple offerings of tickets, the price of ticketing for the bus is the same as in 2018 but this means one way tickets aren’t available this year, I’ve passed my thanks on to Gillinghams on behalf of the club for continuing to be very fair with us during a difficult period.
PLEASE NOTE – TICKETS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE, HOWEVER, TRANSFERS TO OTHER BUS USERS ARE POSSIBLE PROVIDING YOU INFORM BUS ORGANISER OF THE CHANGE.
